Partner John F. “Jack” Gillick concentrates his practice on the litigation of employment discrimination, civil rights, and personal injury claims. A current Trustee for the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and Vice President of Legal Counsel for the Boy Scouts of America, Monmouth Council, Mr. Gillick is a former President of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation and has been named a “Super Lawyer” by New Jersey Monthly magazine for the last seven years in the area of employment law.
A former Trustee for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, John Gillick teaches continuing legal education courses on behalf of the Middlesex County Bar Association and is a member of the New Jersey, Middlesex County, New Brunswick and American Bar Associations. John Gillick is also proud to be an Assistant Troop Leader for his daughters’ Girl Scout troop. He received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University in 2001 and thereafter served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Jack L. Lintner, former Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, Appellate Division. Having successfully handled hundreds of cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, John Gillick has also won appeals before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, in addition to being counsel of record on numerous published opinions.
John Gillick received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University in 2001, where he was Articles Editor for the Legislative Journal, President of the Irish American Law Students Association, a Senator of the Student Bar Association, and an intern for the New Jersey State Assembly’s Democratic Office. As an undergraduate, he received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from William Paterson University in English Literature and Secondary Education, where he was named Outstanding Senior and presented with a service award by the Catholic Campus Ministry.
